Along side ball-sports, the phone and concentration camps, we Brits invented the center course. Most of the country’s most enduring stereotypes and traditions are derived from the center course, and we could not do without them although they might seem the most boring strata of society.
They truly are our physicians, bank managers and teachers, but cushy as some could have it, middle-class life is riddled with usually unique dilemmas. If you believe it is easy being middle-income group, reconsider that thought.
